2012 Iditarod Winner, Dallas Seavey, came from behind to win a gripping and surprise 2014 Victory. Frontrunner Jeff King and tough competitor Aliy Zirkle, were neck and neck for several checkpoints near the end of the race. At one point only being a minute apart. Spectators, online watchers and musher enthusiasts alike were glued to the news anxiously waiting what everyone thought was a two person race with a possible photo finish. In a strange twist of events, Jeff King scratched with less than 33 miles to go due to strong winds that came up last minute. Aliy and Dallas were minutes apart at the finish line. In an even more amazing twist, Seavey did not realize he had won until a reporter inquired of his response to winning.
