The Boat

The Eleu exceeds the U.S. Coast Guard's safety requirement and is rated a "five star" vessel. It has onboard safety equipment that is required for larger commercial vessels operating in the coastal waters of Alaska.

The Eleu is a 1998 Orca 2700 XLC with an overall length of 27 feet. For safe navigation, the Eleu is equipped with a navigation system; VHS Marine radios, a 36 mile radar, depth sounder, fish locator and a global positioning system (GPS).

Come rain or shine, it doesn't matter, the Eleu has all the comforts that are needed for a day out on the water. The Eleu has a custom cabin with seating for a party of six and also sports a walk-in marine head. The cabin is heated both underway and at anchor. Although only 27 feet, the Eleu provides a speedy and smooth ride.

What You Should Bring

    Passengers coming aboard the Eleu are encouraged to bring with them:
  • Alaska Fishing License, ($10 King Tag Optional).

  • Warm clothing
  • Rain gear
  • Sun screen
  • Photography equipment
  • Small coolers are best suited for your food and beverage needs
